EARTH ASTROLOGY with TRISHUWA
EARTH ASTROLOGY BIRTH CHART
Over two decades ago I decided to Vision Quest in the winter time on a new moon. At 7,000 plus feel just past the Flatirons on the edge of Boulder, Colorado and in the Beautiful Rocky Mountains I set up my site. The nights were long and the sky was clear. Abundant stars and planets greeted me each time I crawled out of my sleeping bag to brave the below freezing weather. And, as often happens on a Vision Quest, magic was afoot. The kind of magic that strips away the layers of daily life and opens the heart and the eyes. I felt the thinking stars presence, their companionship. I knew this connection was always present and wanted to study and know more about the star, the planets, moon, sun and the relationship they had to me, an earth body and my Mother Earth.
After I came down the mountain from that time without food or human companionship I was determined to find a teacher. My teacher followed the way of the Greeks and Romans, the Zodiac. What a wonderful ancestral revelation.
After a number of years studying with my teacher, reading copious books and sitting meditating with the night sky I began to combine The Medicine Wheel with the Zodiac. I developed a chart that puts the two together and then I added a six card Tarot reading.
Order your Earth Astrology Chart:
YOU RECEIVE a PDF of the chart, the tarot cards and my recorded interpretation via email. You are able to download it onto your computer and look at the chart and tarot cards while you listen to the mp3 as often as you like.
If you would like a Sun Return (solar return) reading I recommend you have your birth chart done first.
I believe that understanding the relationship of the stars, the planets and the powers of the Directions of the Medicine Wheel can help you navigate the year with more awareness. Trishuwa interprets these relationships and provides an analysis of the energy and power transmitted to you by the elements, the animal medicine totems and the seasons.

FROM MY JOURNAL
Star People
It begins with a winter Vision Quest on a new moon.
I hike up the hill already wondering if this is a good idea. For four days and nights at 7800 feet in the Rocky Mountains I will fast from food taking only water. Like most of my endeavors I have a plan and I have dreams. I am a novice who has never gone into the wilderness overnight in the winter time. Snow and ice cover the ground. Am I prepared? Will my dreams born of myth come true? The first night I am cold, very cold. The forecast said it could be 5 t0 10 degrees below zero. My sleeping bag is woefully inadequate for these conditions. Shaking uncontrollably I hold my breath.
My life is not in danger. I can walk the 3/4 mile steep incline to a warm house. I decide to stay. I hope my dream for a vision of White Buffalo will be granted. To stay I need to attend to my cold shaking body. I am becoming ill. I have promised Creator and the spirits of place to return to my family, my people, unharmed and healthy. My thoughts turn to daydreams of sitting next to a blazing fire as It warms my body, opens my heart and rekindles my spirit. Motivated by a strong dose of fear I begin to reason ignoring my tendency, to turn fantasy into reality. Fire burns brightly in the sun, the other star beings and lives in the heart of Mother Earth. As Mother Earth’s child fire lives inside of me. I pray fervently for fire to help me. I think about the many that have frozen to death in such conditions; that have stayed far too long while hypothermia lulls them into believing they are just fine, that all they need is sleep. With each inhale and exhale I call on fire to warm me. I stop shaking. I remain cold but it is a cold I can endure. My conversation with fire, the fire inside of me and the fire of the stars continues during the night. I fear if I stop I will begin to shiver and become numb with cold.
Before first light I venture out of my sleeping bag mesmerized by the night sky.
Sky surrounds Mother Earth
stars ablaze with blue white fire.
New moon hidden
in the indigo sky
stars shimmer and dance
I am kissed with star magic.
